Cessna Corvalis TTx

Take Control Of Your World

Overview

Take Control Of Your World
Conventional has never been your style. Limitations need not apply. You’ve arrived where you are not by fortuitous chance, but by controlling the variables within your grasp. And as the world moves forward, you need to control more. You have the skills and experience; you’re now ready to experience the next level in high-performance flight.

So fast. And yet so far.
When you fly a Corvalis TTX, you are not only going as fast as a fixed-gear aircraft can take you. You’re also flying much farther – under standard, no wind conditions, fly up to 1,250 nm (2,315 km). And with a BiO2™ four-place built-in oxygen system, you and your passengers can enjoy the breathtaking view from above in complete comfort and safety.

Welcome to the next level.
Side-stick controls for precise, single-pivot-point control. A Garmin G2000 glass cockpit for full, leading-edge situational awareness. The Garmin GTC 570 fully integrated touchscreen system for, well, absolute control. This is the level of awareness and ability to act upon it that you’ve always dreamed of in an aircraft. All standard in the Corvalis TTX.

If flight is art, we have the perfect frame.
When it comes to airframes, it doesn’t get much better than this. E-glass and light, carbon-fiber composite materials allow for greater speed and performance. While actually boosting structural integrity. It all contributes to that sleek yet solid feeling you’ll experience once you climb aboard and taxi for take-off. You’ll also experience the peace of mind that comes along for the ride in such a thoughtfully designed aircraft.

Exterior

This beauty is more than skin deep.
While the processes behind the Corvalis TTX’s all-composite construction are complex, the resulting advantages are not: a superior strength, stability and durability that are unparalleled within the class. In fact, during a six-month test, the Corvalis TTX underwent 171,000 cycles of fatigue testing—the equivalent of 120 years of service life. The airframe remained indifferent to the punishment, and was still fit and ready to take to the air.

Fast yet forgiving.
The combination of the Corvalis TTX’s integral leading-edge wing cuff and elevator features provide docile, predictable low-speed handling characteristics with full aileron authority – even at stall speed. And with the highest wing loading in their class, the Corvalis TTX provides the most stable ride in turbulence.

Make the other runway models jealous.
Like so many supermodels throughout history, the Corvalis TTX has “the look.” That extra-special something. Perhaps it’s the combination of contemporary design and smooth, aerodynamic lines. Or maybe it’s the modern paint styling and luxurious leather cabin. No matter your personal preference, you must admit: this plane’s got style.

Saftey by Design
Every exterior surface of the aircraft (fuselage, wings and flight controls) is imbedded with lightning mesh to effectively and safely dissipate the adverse effects of a lightning strike. Additionally, static wicks on the trailing edge of the wings and elevator allow static build-up to be discharged safely without affecting avionics functionality or disrupting other electrical systems.

Interior

The high-performance luxury sports car of the sky.

Developed as part of Cessna's new Intrinzic flight deck program, the cockpit of the Corvalis TTX has been carefully crafted to create a comfortable, intuitive and harmonious environment where pilots can effectively perform their necessary tasks without fatigue or distraction. Painstaking human factors studies skillfully interpreted by world-class interior designers yielded the aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically correct environment found in the new TTX. Each of the four new interior options uses materials of exceptional quality, and bears a distinct aesthetic and style.

Hand stitched leather seats and fully lined cabin walls bespeak the handcrafted workmanship that goes into each Corvalis TTX cabin. All four seats are equipped with a unique three-point harness that imposes lower loads on the body making your flying experience more comfortable.

All decked out. Everywhere to go.
DirectControl applies to more than the physical command of the aircraft: rather, it begins the moment you turn the key and power up the avionics. Information is control, and Corvalis TTX's all-new Intrinzic flight deck powered by the Garmin G2000 gives you more of it than ever before. This smartphone-like touchscreen interface enables you to access more systems and sensors with fewer keystrokes or page sequences. Every dimension of pertinent flight data and communication can be easily accessed via the GTC 570 touchscreen controller, or via the 14.1" high-definition PFD. Easily identifiable icons make functions simple to locate and access. Menu structures are shallow and streamlined, and data entry is centralized to one easy-to-access location, minimizing hand/eye movements and giving the pilot more focused control with less wasted motion and effort.

The PFD displays all critical flight information including a configurable synthetic vision (SVT) overlay on one 14.1" high-definition monitor.

The MFD can be configured to display a wide variety of systems monitoring, navigation, and communication data greatly enhancing situational awareness during all phases of flight.

A first for piston aircraft, this smartphone-like touchscreen interface enables easy access to instrumentation, navigation, weather, terrain, traffic, engine operations, airway charts, approach plates — virtually everything, even the climate controls.

Engine

Power with cost per mile efficiency

Teledyne Continental Motors is a leading supplier of powerplants, recognized throughout the industry for manufacturing solid and reliable engines. Perhaps that's why TCM powerplants are used in some of the fastest and most efficient aircraft in the world.

Thanks to its TCM TSIO-550-C six-cylinder, fuel-injected, twin turbocharged engine with dual intercoolers, the Corvalis TTX boasts a max cruise speed of 235 knots (435 km/h) and a range of 1,250 nautical miles (2,315 km) at economy cruise speeds. So you'll cruise higher in one of the world's fastest single-pistons in the sky.

Safety

Safety. More than just a catchphrase.

Our determined efforts to improve the safety of our aircraft are always top-of-mind. Those efforts benefit our customers in a variety of ways, not the least of which are favorable insurance premiums and low cost of ownership. But perhaps the biggest payoff is the confidence and comfort level that you as a Cessna pilot will rightly feel when you take to the skies. Whether it's a hop around the patch with your kids, a weekend away with the family, or an instrument flight into complex airspace with your business colleagues, our 80-plus year legacy of safety is with you all the way.

Precious cargo on board.
From the tip of the spinner to the trailing edge of the rudder, every new Cessna is designed and equipped to deliver on the trust that passengers place in you every single flight. While creature comforts and amenities abound, in a Cessna, the focus on safety is always at the forefront.

Play it safe.

Safety by design.
For more than 80 years, Cessna has always made safety its top priority. From prop to tail, the design of the Cessna Corvalis TTX integrates today’s most innovative active and passive safety features. This commitment to safety has paved the way to a Utility Category certification, the FAA’s most demanding non-aerobatic certification level.
