Meet the Garmin G1000 glass cockpit – the next-generation flight deck package that is an absolute joy to fly.

The G1000 integrates all primary flight, engine and sensor data to provide intuitive, at-a-glance situational awareness. The G1000 also incorporates fully-integrated Nav/Comm equipment and is GPS- and transponder-equipped. Flight-critical information is presented on two big, colourful 10.4-inch active-matrix LCD displays – bringing new levels of safety and confidence to the Cessna single-engine line up.

Glass Cockpit Displays
A Primary Flight Display (PDF) and a Multi-Function Display (MFD) both offer wide viewing angles, clear sunlight readability, a full reversionary mode and the highest resolution in their class.

Dual Nav/Comm/GPS
Dual integrated radio modules provide WAAS-capable, IFR oceanic-approved GPS; VHF navigation with ILS; and VHF communication with 16-watt transceivers and 8.33-kHz channel spacing.

Traffic
Integrated Mode S with Traffic Information System (TIS).

Terrain Mapping
Includes topographic and relative terrain mapping. Provides enhanced situational awareness.

Weather
The Flight Information System (FIS) utilises the next-generation GDL 69A Satellite Weather data link with XM Satellite Radio® entertainment. XM Radio® and XM WM Satellite Weather TM subscriptions optional.

Digital Audio Panel
Includes three Comm, two Nav, Pilot/Crew Isolation intercom capability, DME, ADF, HF, Satphone, entertainment and audio playback capability.

AHRS
A solid-state Attitude Heading & Reference System (AHRS).

Three-axis Magnetometer
Provides full three-axis magnetic field information in all flight attitudes.

Enhanced Safety Features
Including a standby battery and engine-driven vacuum pump.

EICAS
Engine/Airframe Indication and Crew Alerting System monitors system status and aircraft performance.

ADC
The solid-state, RVSM-capable, digital air data computer computes TAS, CAS, VSI, TAT, wind direction and velocity for display.
