Whatever your helicopter training requirements, our instructors combine the highest standards and experience with friendliness and flexibility.
You can choose from 2 central locations - Cranfield Airfield, in Bedfordshire (just off junction 14 of the M1) and Gloucestershire Airport (just off junction 10 or 11 of the M5).
Our flight training courses range from a Trial Lesson to a full Private Pilot's Licence. Training is tailored to suit you, whether a full time course or a more leisurely program. If you are a licence holder and/or aircraft owner we also run Helicopter Type Conversion courses and Robinson safety courses.
A trial lesson lets you experience helicopter flying first hand and get your first feel of the controls under expert supervision.
Our approach combines in-flight training with ground study, your instructor will guide you through each lesson and make sure you have a full understanding of what you are about to do around your flight or a ground exam. Our instructors take pride in training students to very high standards. Our objective is to help you become a safe, practical and accomplished pilot.
Once you have your PPL(H) you can take advantage of our Self Fly Hire Service. You can select one of our helicopters from our fleet of well equipped and maintained aircraft for your private use, including Robinson R22 and R44 and B206 Jet Ranger.
Our rates are highly competitive and include annual membership of Patriot's flight club, fuel, Cranfield or Gloucester landing fees and insurance. You may wish to take advantage of our reduced rates around block booking and call down hours as suits you.
