Patriot Aviation has acquired CSE Aircraft Sales (CSE), the Cessna Sales Team Authorised Representative for the UK and Northern Ireland. CSE will operate alongside Patriot Aviation, a UK market leader in helicopter sales, engineering, flight training and charter. Patriot also holds the Bell Helicopter distributorship for the UK and Northern Ireland. CSE and its sales team have already successfully relocated to Cranfield, Patriot Aviation's UK headquarters.
Both Textron companies, the Cessna and Bell brands work well together. Patriot demonstrates an emerging and successful global trend where these two complementary brands bring together fixed wing and rotor under single ownership.
Patriot's Chairman, leading Entrepreneur Sir Peter Rigby, said: "We are delighted to represent Cessna in the UK around its superb range of single engine aircraft, including the new high speed 350 / 400 models. We have already placed orders with Cessna for some 40 aircraft to the value of $27 million, to keep customer lead times on new aircraft at a minimum".
