How long will the lesson last?
|

Typically you will receive a briefing of about 20 minutes plus your booked. flight time.

How do I book my Trial Lesson?

Call either flying school and ask to book your trial lesson at a mutually convenient time.

Will the Trial Lesson count towards a license?
|
|
Yes. The flight time will count towards your required 45 hours.

Do I actually get to fly the helicopter?
|
|
You certainly do. Depending on your ability we can usually get most people flying the helicopter on all the controls during the lesson.

I've heard that hovering a helicopter is difficult?
|
|
You bet, but that's what makes flying a helicopter so exciting, challenging and rewarding.

Will I get a certificate at the end of the lesson?

Only if your instructor thinks you've earned it!

What if the sun isn't shining, can I still fly?
|
|
Don't worry, as long as the cloud base isn't too low, the visibility isn't too poor, or the wind too strong, your lesson will still go ahead. But please call the flying school on the morning of your lesson to check that it can go ahead.
