Whether you want to become a qualified pilot or simply enjoy a one-off experience, a trial lesson lets you experience the excitement of rotary flight and gives you the opportunity to pilot a helicopter for the first time.
The package starts with a briefing. One of our experienced instructors will talk you through the controls and explain what to expect in your flight. Then enjoy the flight itself in either a 2 or 4 seat helicopter. Follow through on the controls as your instructor flies you out into the local area. As you relax and enjoy the experience your instructor will allow you to fly the helicopter and teach you some basic manoeuvres under expert supervision.
On returning back to the airfield you can try your hand at hovering: not as easy as it looks, but you will have a lot of fun trying! Before you leave, your instructor will present you with a signed certificate as a memento of the occasion and if you decide to continue training, the trial lesson counts towards your PPL(H).
